Chapter 1 For Jesse Werner sensitive skin had always made shaving an unpleasant daily experience – with ingrown hairs, nicks and razor burns a constant painful irritation. After trying countless products Jesse finally found the solution to his rough shave problem – a European shave cream that he used with a special shaving brush. One day Jesse’s wife found herself without her shaving cream so borrowed Jesse’s cream and brush to shave her legs – and in her words experienced “the best shave” of her life…except that she smelt like an English gentleman! Oh how she wished there was a lusciously feminine, deliciously fragranced product just like that!

Chapter 2 Always the attentive husband, Jesse set to work with the help of his brother Sam, a chemist, a laboratory and a prestige manufacturer of women’s body care to make his wife’s wish come true. After countless test shaves Jesse’s wish became Whish.

Chapter 3 But that was just the beginning. As Jesse and Sam were delving in to this delicious-smelling new world of products, there came another little request. Perhaps they could develop a range of bath and body products that would leave her skin feeling this deliciously soft and silky smooth from tip to toe?

Chapter 4 Undaunted by the challenge, the boys set to work – and as they researched, found to their horror that most bathing products use nasty drying ingredients such as sulphates as their cleaning “bubbling” agents. Fine if you’re a load of laundry or a car, but extremely harsh on delicate skin. So they started looking in to natural ingredients like organic shea and raspberry butters, aloe and marigold, organic seaweed and rice bran oil – finding as they went that these natural ingredients were not only extremely effective, they had delicious natural fragrances, were gentle on the skin and naturally moisturising. And so they took these natural ingredients and created a luscious line of body washes, scrubs, butters, shave creams and post hair removal products…granting yet another wish!
